La fallecida cantante Lisa Marie Presley ya descansa cerca de su padre Elvis, el “rey” del rock n’ roll, en su legendaria casa de Graceland, en Tennessee, donde cientos de fans y familiares se reunieron el domingo 22 de enero para despedirla.
Desde el amanecer, una larga multitud hizo cola para asistir al servicio fúnebre en Memphis. Muchos llevaron flores o fotos de la cantante fallecida a los 54 años el 12 de enero.
La ceremonia debía culminar con una procesión hasta el “Jardín de la Meditación” de Graceland, donde se encuentran las tumbas de Elvis Presley, de varios miembros de su familia y ahora de Lisa Marie, su única hija con la actriz Priscilla Presley.
“Nuestro corazón está roto, Lisa, y todos te amamos”, dijo su madre, Priscilla Presley, en el servicio en el jardín delantero de Graceland. “Lisa Marie Presley fue un ícono, un modelo a seguir, una superheroína para muchas personas en todo el mundo”.
