En un acto de justicia social y bienestar familiar, la gobernadora Mara Lezama y la secretaria de Obras Públicas recorren este espacio que se transformó de un terreno baldío a un espacio de sano esparcimiento
Cancún.- En el Parque Cultural Urbano de La Paz y acompañada de la secretaria de Obras Públicas Irazú Sarabia, la gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa recorrió las instalaciones para constatar la transformación de un lote baldío a un espacio de sano esparcimiento y encuentro social que contribuirá al bienestar y a la construcción de paz.
Se trata del primer Parque de la Paz y está ubicado en Villas Otoch, supermanzana 259, en donde el gobierno del estado impulsa una estrategia de construcción de paz para garantizar la seguridad de sus habitantes, como lo hace en otras comunidades, regiones y colonias que representaban un foco rojo por la actividad delictiva.
En Villas Otoch, por ejemplo, el gobierno del estado ha instalado un sistema de vigilancia y monitoreo, se han organizado actividades culturales y artísticas que favorecen la integración social, charlas y talleres sobre prevención de la violencia, programas de empoderamiento de las mujeres, y ahora este nuevo parque de la paz.
La secretaria Irazú Sarabia dio a conocer que este Parque de la Paz estará al servicio a más de 12 mil habitantes de esta zona de Cancún. Sobre un terreno baldío se construyó un edificio de 2 plantas, incluyendo una caseta de policía y sanitarios. Además, se construyó un foro con cubierta de 205 metros cuadrados.
El parque cuenta con un skate park aprovechando el camellón de la avenida; un pet park con pasarela para circuito canino y un bike park, entre otras áreas, que se complementa con 5 mesas y 20 bancas de concreto; dos aparca bicicletas, cuatro juegos infantiles y uno inclusivo.
La gobernadora Mara Lezama destacó que este espacio público contribuirá al bienestar social y será un espacio comunitario donde las familias puedan pasear y convivir sin preocupaciones, desde las y los más pequeños hasta los adultos mayores, pasando por los jóvenes, alejándolos de espacios inseguros.
