🔸 El presidente de la Junta de Coordinación Política participó en la inauguración una exposición escultórica que simboliza la transformación de la violencia en arte.
#CDMX | En un emotivo acto de conmemoración del aniversario de las Fuerzas Armadas, el presidente de la Junta de Coordinación Política y coordinador del grupo parlamentario de Morena, Ricardo Monreal Ávila, rindió homenaje al patriotismo, sacrificio y lealtad de los integrantes de la Fuerza Aérea Mexicana y las Fuerzas Armadas de México.
“Ustedes son un símbolo de nuestra patria y quienes estamos legislando sabemos del sacrificio diario que realizan para defender la soberanía y la independencia de México”, expresó Monreal en su intervención, destacando la importancia de las Fuerzas Armadas para la construcción de un país de paz, unidad y bienestar social.
En el marco de esta conmemoración, el legislador enfatizó que las reformas aprobadas por el Poder Legislativo refuerzan la capacidad operativa de las Fuerzas Armadas y promueven el diálogo con la ciudadanía, así como el fortalecimiento de los valores cívicos de la nación. Asimismo, mencionó que la Comisión de la Defensa Nacional analiza una iniciativa presidencial que reforma la Ley de Ascensos y Recompensas del Ejército y Fuerza Aérea Mexicana, con el fin de reconocer el mérito de los miembros de estas instituciones.
Uno de los momentos más significativos de la jornada fue la inauguración de la Exposición Escultórica «Transformación: Esculturas por la Paz y la Esperanza», del artista Álvaro Cuevas. Las piezas, creadas a partir de armas recolectadas en el Programa de Desarme Voluntario, simbolizan el proceso de transformación de la violencia en arte, como un acto de esperanza y pacificación.
La diputada Nadia Sepúlveda García destacó que esta exhibición no solo honra los valores de unidad y reconciliación, sino que representa la posibilidad de transformar la cultura de la violencia en una de armonía. Las esculturas, hechas de material ferroso, son un testimonio del poder de la transformación a través del arte, y nos invitan a reflexionar sobre cómo el diálogo y el respeto pueden generar un futuro de paz.
El subsecretario de Marina, José Barradas Cobos, resaltó que el arte es una herramienta para cambiar paradigmas y movilizar conciencias, mientras que el comandante de la Guardia Nacional, Rus Peñaloza Meneses, subrayó el simbolismo profundo de las esculturas como representación de la creatividad que convierte las armas de la violencia en obras de arte.
