#YUCATÁN | La zona arqueológica de Chichén Itzá, en Yucatán, se encuentra lista para el equinoccio de primavera, que este año ocurrirá el jueves 20 de marzo.
No obstante, el fenómeno de luz y sombra conocido como ‘el descenso de Kukulcán‘, en la pirámide de El Castillo, podrá apreciarse a partir del 15 de marzo.
A fin de garantizar la seguridad de los visitantes y la preservación de la zona arqueológica se realizará un operativo especial a cargo de elementos estatales y federales, en coordinación con el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH).
El operativo se implementará del 17 al 23 de marzo, informó Clemente Escalante Alcocer, director del Patronato de las Unidades de Servicios Culturales y Turísticos del Estado de Yucatán (Cultur).
Se instalarán servicios médicos, puntos de rehidratación, baños, áreas para medios y rutas de desalojo.
Dado que se esperan más de 30 mil visitantes, se habilitó un acceso alterno
