🔸 Llama la atención que el joven Gilberto Mora libró el recorte y jugará su primer torneo oficial con el Tri Mayor.
#DEPORTES | El entrenador de la Selección Nacional de México, Javier Aguirre, dio a conocer la lista de 26 jugadores con los que buscará el bicampeonato de la Copa Oro en su edición 2025, siendo las grandes ausencias Hirving Lozano y Henry Martín, quienes están lesionados.
En la lista de convocados llama la atención que el joven de 17 año de edad, Gilberto Mora, quien se ha ido ganando la confianza del Vasco desde que lo llamó por primera vez para la gira por Sudamérica para enfrentar a Inter de Porto Alegre y River Plate.
También destaca la convocatoria de Julián Araujo, un futbolista que recién regresó a la actividad con su club en la Premier League tras una lesión en el isquiotibial izquierdo y se perdió prácticamente toda la temporada.
El resto de los seleccionados son elementos que ya han sido llamados por el vasco en diferentes ocasiones y que tienen experiencia defendiendo la camiseta de la Selección.
De los 35 jugadores que tenía contemplados al inicio de la concentración, fueron dados de baja Jesús Angulo, Chucky Lozano y Henry Martín por lesión, mientras que por decisión técnica quedaron fuera Alex Padilla, Emilio Lara, Juan Sánchez Purata, Gilberto Sepúlveda, Ramón Juárez, y Jeremy Márquez.
De todos estos elementos que no quedaron en la lista final solo Padilla y los lesionados no harán el viaje a Estados Unidos, mientras que el resto si lo hará para que tengan actividad en los juegos amistosos contra Turquía y Suiza.

Defensas: Jorge Sánchez, Julián Araujo, César Montes, Israel Reyes, Jesús Orozco, Mateo Chávez, Jesús Gallardo.
