#NACIONAL | Las elecciones del 1 de junio para elegir a magistrados y magistradas del Poder Judicial se han convertido en historia para nuestro país, pues por primera vez se llevó a cabo este ejercicio democrático para el sistema de justicia.
Tras concluir al 100 por ciento los cómputos distritales para este órgano se quedaron definidos los integrantes del Tribunal de Disciplina Judicial, que tendrá tres magistradas y dos magistrados. Los virtuales ganadores son: Celia Maya García, con 5 millones 233 mil 666 votos, Eva Verónica de Gyvés Zárate, con 5 millones 34 mil 872 votos y Indira Isabel García Pérez, con 4 millones 346 mil 396 votos en cuanto a las mujeres.
En cuanto a los hombres los virtuales ganadores son: Bernardo Bátiz Vázquez, con 4 millones 652 mil 720 votos y Rufino H. León Tovar, con 4 millones 32 mil 446 votos.
Los magistrados y magistradas encabezarán el tribunal durante los próximos seis años, tras los cuales no podrán reelegirse.
El Tribunal de Disciplina Judicial sustituirá al Consejo de la Judicatura Federal (CJF), por lo que ahora se encargará de supervisar y sancionar a los servidores públicos judiciales.
Trabajará con independencia técnica y de gestión para emitir sus resoluciones, por lo que encomienda principal será investigar y sancionar faltas graves en el ejercicio de la justicia.
Una de sus características que sus decisiones serán definitivas, por lo que no habrá impugnaciones ni se podrá hacer uso del amparo ante sus resoluciones. De ahí la relevancia de conocer el perfil de los candidatos que en futuro se convertirán en magistrados.
La propuesta de Ley Orgánica del Poder Judicial de la Federación, que presentó la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum al Congreso de la Unión, en el articulo 134, indica las funciones de este nuevo ente, las cuales son: Atender denuncias en contra de trabajadores del Poder Judicial, se les va a investigar y en caso de ser necesario, sancionar y al igual que el CJF funcionará en pleno o en comisiones y también estará formado por cinco personas, pero estas serán elegidas por la ciudadanía.
El pleno nombrará a su presidente o presidenta, a una secretaria o secretario general de acuerdos y a una subsecretaría o subsecretario general de acuerdos.
Además, cada dos años se va a renovar la presidencia; el candidato o la candidata con mayor número de votos, asumirá el cargo.
