#DEPORTES | El capitán de la selección francesa, Kylian Mbappé§, aseguró este sábado que no siente «ninguna amargura» después del título de la Champions League del París Saint-Germain, club que abandonó en 2024 para fichar por el Real Madrid.
«No me fui demasiado pronto, mi historia con el PSG estaba terminada. No siento ninguna amargura, había llegado al final del camino. Lo intenté todo y es el destino el que decidió que tenía que ser sin mí», declaró Mbappé en la conferencia de prensa de la víspera del duelo por el tercer puesto de la Liga de Naciones europea entre Francia y Alemania en Stuttgart.
«Estoy contento, creo que se lo merecieron, han tenido muchos años de espera. Yo mismo lo he vivido, he pasado por todas las etapas con el PSG salvo la del título. Sobre el terreno de juego, se lo han merecido al 100 por ciento, son el mejor equipo de Europa», sentenció.
Mbappé también fue preguntado por su opinión sobre quién debe ser el próximo Balón de Oro y apostó abiertamente por su compatriota Ousmane Dembélé, elegido precisamente el mejor jugador de la Champions League recién terminada por su aportación ofensiva al PSG.
«¿De verdad es necesario explicarlo? En este momento se habla de Lamine Yamal y de Ousmane Dembélé, yo voto por Dembélé», señaló.
El debate sobre la identidad del futuro Balón de Oro, que será entregado el 22 de septiembre, agita las conversaciones esta semana en Alemania, sede la Final Four de la Liga de Naciones, con la presencia de Yamal, Dembélé y el propio Mbappé, tres de los principales aspirantes.
Antes de la toma de posición de Mbappé, el seleccionador francés Didier Deschamps y el defensa Ibrahima Konaté habían apostado igualmente por Dembélé el miércoles, en la conferencia de prensa de la víspera de la semifinal perdida 5-4 ante la España de Yamal, que firmó un doblete en ese partido.
«Se refiere a lo logrado en toda la temporada y con lo que ha logrado Ousmane se lo merece. Yo digo sí al 100 por ciento. Evidentemente voy con Ousmane, que es francés», afirmó entonces Deschamps.
Su homólogo español, Luis De la Fuente, defendió por su parte que él apuesta por un español, sea Lamine Yamal, Pedri o Fabián Ruiz. Ese último formó parte del PSG campeón de Europa.
