🔸 Martín Demichelis y sus hijos estuvieron cerca de sufrir una desgracia en playa de Uruguay
#DEPORTES | El cierre de 2025 estuvo marcado por un episodio de alto riesgo para el entorno del futbol internacional, luego de que Martín Demichelis y parte de su familia enfrentaran una situación crítica durante un periodo vacacional en Uruguay. El exentrenador de Liga MX con Rayados y exfutbolista argentino se encontraba fuera de la actividad profesional cuando ocurrieron los hechos.
La familia eligió Punta del Este como destino para despedir el año y el 31 de diciembre decidió comenzar la jornada con una visita a una zona costera. La actividad recreativa se desarrolló en un punto conocido como Lago Escondido, sin que se dimensionaran las condiciones del entorno marítimo en ese momento.
Al avanzar mar adentro, varios integrantes comenzaron a ser arrastrados progresivamente por la corriente. La fuerza del oleaje complicó cualquier intento de retorno a la orilla, generando una situación de peligro real ante la imposibilidad de mantenerse cerca de tierra firme.
El área donde ocurrió el incidente cuenta con restricciones para el ingreso al agua, debido a que se trata de mar abierto y presenta corrientes intensas. Además, no existen servicios de vigilancia activa ni personal de rescate asignado de manera permanente para actividades recreativas en ese punto específico.
De acuerdo con los reportes, tres personas enfrentaron el momento más delicado: Martín Demichelis, su hijo Bastian y su sobrina Camila. Los tres fueron quienes tuvieron mayores dificultades para salir por sus propios medios y permanecieron varios minutos luchando contra el movimiento del mar.
Las imágenes difundidas posteriormente muestran el esfuerzo constante del grupo por mantenerse a flote mientras intentaban avanzar hacia la costa, sin éxito. La situación se prolongó hasta que apareció ayuda externa en el lugar.
La intervención llegó por parte de dos salvavidas que no se encontraban en turno, quienes transitaban por la zona con tablas de surf. Al identificar la emergencia, ingresaron al mar y lograron asistir a los integrantes de la familia, guiándolos de vuelta a un punto seguro.
Tras el rescate, no se reportaron afectaciones físicas ni complicaciones médicas para ninguno de los involucrados. El incidente quedó como un episodio de alto impacto durante el periodo vacacional del exentrenador, quien posteriormente continuó su estancia sin consecuencias de salud.
