#CDMX | El coordinador de Morena en la Cámara de Diputados, Ricardo Monreal, informó que la convocatoria para elegir al nuevo titular de la Auditoría Superior de la Federación (ASF) podría emitirse entre el diecisiete y dieciocho de febrero.
En conferencia de prensa en San Lázaro, el legislador explicó que este proceso es uno de los asuntos más relevantes que actualmente atiende la Cámara de Diputados, junto con la elección de tres consejeros del Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE).
Monreal detalló que, una vez emitida la convocatoria, se iniciará el análisis de los perfiles inscritos y se desahogarán las etapas del procedimiento legislativo, con el objetivo de que durante el mes de marzo el Pleno pueda definir si se designa a un nuevo auditor o se ratifica al actual titular.
Asimismo, señaló que existe la posibilidad de que David Colmenares, quien encabeza la ASF desde el año dos mil dieciocho, pueda ser reelegido, conforme a lo que determine la asamblea legislativa.
“Vamos a votar en febrero y marzo, para que en marzo ya exista una definición clara, ya sea con un nuevo auditor o con la ratificación del actual”, expresó el coordinador parlamentario.
De acuerdo con el artículo setenta y nueve de la Constitución Política, la Cámara de Diputados tiene la facultad de designar a la o el titular de la Auditoría Superior de la Federación, así como de establecer los lineamientos del procedimiento.
El titular de la ASF permanece en el encargo por un periodo de ocho años y puede ser nombrado nuevamente una sola vez. La Comisión de Vigilancia de la Auditoría Superior de la Federación será la encargada de emitir la convocatoria correspondiente.
La renovación de la ASF es considerada clave para la fiscalización de los recursos públicos y la rendición de cuentas a nivel federal.
