#VIRAL | Un hombre, de 44 años, que había logrado recuperar la vista tras una cirugía ocular quedó ciego de manera permanente luego de ser golpeado en la calle por un indigente.
El ataque ocurrió frente a una clínica oftalmológica de la ciudad de Campo Grande, en Brasil, cuando se dirigía a un control médico de rutina.
La víctima se encontraba en pleno proceso de recuperación tras un trasplante de córnea realizado días antes. Un video, captado por cámaras de seguridad, dejó ver como el agresor le propinó un golpe directo en el rostro al hombre sin que tuvieran una discusión previa.
El hombre, que trabajaba como conserje en una escuela y residía en la ciudad de Nova Andradina, había esperado durante dos años para acceder al trasplante de córnea. El procedimiento había sido posible gracias al apoyo de la Secretaría Municipal de Salud de Brasil y los médicos evaluaban de manera positiva su evolución.
Tras la agresión, tuvo que ser internado de urgencia. Poco después, el equipo médico confirmó que había perdido de forma definitiva la visión del ojo intervenido, lo que truncó por completo su recuperación.
De acuerdo con las investigaciones del caso, el atacante fue identificado como un joven de 26 años en situación de calle y ya acumulaba siete condenas previas por hechos vîolēntos. En este caso, el golpe fue propinado sin motivo aparente y de manera totalmente aleatoria.
Por tal motivo, un juez determinó que el hombre en situación de calle quedara detenido de forma preventiva mientras avanzaba la causa judicial.
El caso generó conmoción en la comunidad, mientras que el video del momento se viralizó en redes sociales.
