#CHIAPAS | Un hombre identificado como Andrés “N” fue detenido en el municipio de San Andrés Larráinzar, acusado de vender a su hija de 12 años por 25 mil pesos para obligarla a vivir con un adulto, en un caso que se convirtió en el primero judicializado en Chiapas por el delito de cohabitación forzada.
De acuerdo con la Fiscalía General del Estado, los hechos ocurrieron en la comunidad de Tres Puentes, donde la menor fue entregada al hombre adulto tras un acuerdo económico. La investigación inició gracias a la denuncia presentada por la madre de la víctima, lo que permitió obtener una orden de aprehensión contra el padre.
Las autoridades informaron que el adulto que recibió a la menor también enfrentará un proceso penal por su presunta participación en los hechos.
El fiscal general, Jorge Luis Llaven Abarca, señaló que la Fiscalía solicitará la pena máxima de hasta 30 años de prisión para los responsables, debido a que el delito contempla agravantes cuando se comete en comunidades indígenas.
Asimismo, enfatizó que los usos y costumbres no pueden invocarse para justificar conductas que vulneren los derechos de niñas, niños, adolescentes y mujeres, por lo que advirtió que cualquier persona involucrada en este tipo de prácticas será llevada ante la justicia.
La figura de cohabitación forzada fue incorporada recientemente al Código Penal de Chiapas con el propósito de sancionar las uniones forzadas y la entrega de menores bajo prácticas tradicionales, marcando un precedente en la protección de los derechos de la niñez en la entidad.
